(2018-08-21) Some Q&As after lecture 1
1. Term paper
1.1 See last year example here. (Ignore "Practicalities" on the pdf for now)
1.2 Everyone gets the same question for the term paper.
1.3 For the final exam. You are not allowed to bring term paper yourself according to UiO rules. Instead, I will print out your term paper, hand it to you 5min before the exam so that you can use it to answer exam questions.
1.4 One exam question will be exactly the same as the term paper question, or as part of the term paper questions.
1.5. The recommended length for the term paper is 3-5 pages. If you want to prepare a long and detailed term paper, it is ok for you to write down only the core part of it at the exam - I will factor in the quality of your full term paper in this case (of course you can't write only e.g.10 words at the exam...)
2. Course materials
2.1. Three places to find course materials: (1) canvas, links in syllabus (2) canvas, modules. (3) my website: http://www.yuanzi-economics.com/teaching.html (will update this week).
2.2. Modules- other resources (how to open a URL?)
click the link -> click the title of the link at the new page ->voilà!
2.3 Is it ok for me to use different versions of a textbook?
-- Yes of course.
